Je sors de mon avant dernière garde de pédiatrie… et je viens d’apprendre que nos propositions pour autoriser la plongée chez les diabétiques ont été acceptées par la FFESSM.
Rien de plus a dire que : bravo à nous tous
This is an attempt to catchup with my webjournal, hopefully i’ll keep it more up to date in the future.
I am still working in pediatrics, it’s a bit tiring but very interesting. Today i took some snapshots in the service, i plan to shot a lot more

I uploaded some pictures by Jim Abernethy, Doug Ebersole and Eric Cheng to my Bahamas galleries… i had to have some showing me with the sharks
Humans in Bahamas
il était temps ….
les photos de Bonaire, et quelques autres prises au Musée Rodin et ailleurs
This poor blog must feel bad, i don’t really post here very often, not as often as i’d like to
Next wednesday i’ll fly to Ajaccio to present the diabetes and diving project, in english (brr) at the EUBS annual meeting.
I have just finished my slide show and writing my speech, but going over all this speech in english isn’t easy. i realyse how easyer it is to write it down.
As this project wasn’t hard enough, as if i had too much free time with my current job in pediatrics, my boot HD decided to fail
Afortunately i could recover most of the important data that wasn’t backed up (why didn’t i backup everything ?????) using a knoppix linux dist, and copying the data from the faulty sata drive to another partition. That bloody drive wouldn’t mount on windows.
it’s really a pity i need to keep using windows, mostly because of image manipulation, there’ aren’t great tools on linux for this (raw dev mostly), and as these are commercial tools i’m affraid they will take very long to be ported to linux.
anyway, all backed up, back to working, and have ordered one of those adaptec ide raid cards…. i’ll copy my main disk and all the important stuff to a 2 raids array. can i hope i won’t have this kind of problems anymore ? i don’t really think so
Back from Bonaire after some wonderful vacations with Nathalie, started right over with a 24h shift to get back in the mood ![]()
I’m very jet lagged and sleepy, but i wanted to setup this blog software again before i go to sleep, i’ll post some more when i get the pictures developed
